I love using my borealis backpack for both work and my weekend hikes. The section for my laptop is great and it's also comforting knowing that it's protected with the padding inside. The straps are great and comfortable when I take it out for a hike and carries just about all you'll need for a good long hike trip. Would definitely recommend it for its range of features

This pack is rated for 35 pounds however dont try this much wait the straps will fail. There are apparently two models the first has Velcro only and this model was reportedly replaced with one that has more Velcro and two additional straps. Problem is at 30+ pounds the strap has a tendency to fail. In additional when you attempt to shoulder the bag holding the strap which is the technique everyone uses the strap will fail 100% of the time
