Hiking

(1/5)

"Not really built for hiking though. There is no set up for hydration system (though it's easy enough to use the computer pouch for this and run the hose out of the top of the bag), side pockets are too small for 32 oz nalgene and can be hard to put any size water bottle in once the bag is fully packed, no hip belt so all the weight rests on your shoulders (though there are some loops down there so you could maybe add one)."

Strap

(1/4)

"I was initially not a fan of the shoulder straps, but they've definitely grown on me, and are one of the more comfortable straps I've used now. I think the trick is that the shoulder straps are especially wide, which spreads the weight across more of your shoulders to minimize pressure at any one point."

Carry-on

(1/4)

"I was amazed by the quality and attention to detail on this backpack. In particular the shoulder straps have a layer of silky smooth seat belt strapping in the outside which is so cool."

Comfort

(1/2)

"I decided to give it to the starbucks drive through cashier who I see regularly who had worn a similarly patterned shirt. My recommendation would to make a larger version and take a closer look at Lowe Alpine for the comfort of their uncontoured but well engineered straps."

Laptop

(1/2)

"It easily holds my 15" MacBook Pro, its accessories, headphones, notebook, and my sweet Topo camera cube. I like that there aren't a ton of extra zipper pockets for things to get lost in -- It's simple in a good way."

Commute

(1/1)

"It looks clean and professional and holds my laptop along with all my work materials and my food for the day. Highly recommend for the office commute."

Size

(1/1)

"I chose the black cordura when it came on sale. I generally liked the look of the bag, but found it too small and the straps, although having a trendy and sturdy seatbelt design, to be disproportionate in comfort to the weight of the pack. I decided to give it to the starbucks drive through cashier who I see regularly who had worn a similarly patterned shirt. My recommendation would to make a larger version and take a closer look at Lowe Alpine for the comfort of their uncontoured but well engineered straps"
