 We've also got two thick leather hole handles at the top here which are made of that same beautiful saddle grade bridle leather. That's actually been sourced from North America and actually tanned in USA tanneries. Getting into the main compartment we have a storm flap here covering the main compartment and that's secured by a button clasp here. There's a little solid brass stud and this is actually an iconic Filson staple

There are three pen slots here, another slot that's good size for a phone and another slot for bigger sized items and just below that is another slot for business cards.  Filson. I'm Ed from Rush Faster. We do guides and walkthroughs bringing you better gear

 and better ways to carry. So if you're new to the channel or interested in any of that,

 please consider subscribing. Let's jump right in and check out the Filson original briefcase.

 Filson is an incredible company. They've been around for over 120 years making gear for

 explorers, adventurers, hunters, anglers, people working in difficult and rugged conditions.

 Lots of people who own Filson products from about 20 years ago are still using those products today.

 So today we're looking at the original briefcase from Filson. This is in the rugged twill fabric.

 There is also a tin cloth fabric as well that you can look into. It is made of their signature

 rugged twill which is a heavy-duty hard-wearing water-resistant fabric. It is Filson's most

 durable fabric they have to offer. It is actually made of an industrial cotton that's woven two to

 three-ply in a twill and then lightly waxed for lasting protection against abrasion and wet

 weather. Filson don't mess around when it comes to their leather. All the leather featured on this

 bag is a bridled leather that's been vegetable tanned on the handles, the tabs and the zipper

 pulls. And all the metal is made from a solid brass so we're dealing with a really heavy duty

 bag here. Starting from the front of the bag we just have a cargo slip pocket here. There's no

 zipping here just a quick slip pocket. At the moment I've just got a notebook inside and on

 the side of this pocket we have a little key leash which has a solid brass key ring. Great for

 attaching your keys on so you don't lose them. On the other side we also have another cargo slip

 pocket. Good for adding additional documents or any quick access items that you want to just slip

 in there. We've also got two thick leather hole handles at the top here which are made of that

 bridle leather zipper pulls. It's a really heavy duty zipper there and then inside we can see a

 little bit of further organization for all your bits of gear. Here I've just got a Kinto travel

 tumbler, my sunglasses case and then you can see here there's a bit of an organization panel.

 This is made of the same rugged twill that we saw on the outside. There are three pen slots here,

 another slot that's good size for a phone and another slot for bigger sized items and just

 below that is another slot for business cards. And then on either side of the brief there are

 these two document pockets. I'd suggest using one as the laptop compartment and the other one for

 other documents or magazines. In this case I've just got a Hey Gents magazine and here I have

 my 13 inch MacBook Pro Retina. Now this can fit up to a 15 inch laptop and you can fit a tablet

 in there as well so you have those options available for you. The original briefcase also

 comes with a shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is made of the same beautiful bridled leather

 and actually has a shoulder pad here which has foam inside for comfort and the two solid brass

 clips clip onto the two solid brass d-rings on the sides. The shoulder strap is also adjustable

 with this running buckle. You can adjust it to the different rungs based upon your preference.

 Just to let you see what it looks like on the body I'm 5'10 this is cross body carry.

 And just remember you can carry this as a normal brief.

 Well everyone it goes without saying that the Filson Original Briefcase

 is a super tough and burly bag but it doesn't really look the part. It actually has this

 beautiful heritage workman's aesthetic to it and it has enough organization that's suitable for
