 But it does fit again a surprising amount. Re-zip this. I like the look of it when it's not crammed to the gills like I am doing right now, but I just wanted you to have an idea of exactly how much fits. Or I do like to snap the top just to be make it look neat

 So just to go over the features and what it does have, this version with the laptop pocket does have padded straps, which is helpful and I've never felt uncomfortable at all with them. It adjusts kind of at the bottom here and you can see there's I mean I've never done this, but you can pull them all the way up and snap them right here at the top. so that's the back and it has this sort of cross grain stitching here that keeps the weight pretty evenly distributed.  so I've had it for about two years now and used it continually, so I feel like I can speak on how well it's held up as well as kind of why I bought it and show you what fits in it. This is kind of becoming one of my favorite travel pieces and I will show you why it does fit a 15-inch laptop as it says in the title and it has one of those zipper pockets on the back that allows you to put the laptop in separately, which is great because when I'm packing and kind of getting all my stuff in the front, it's nice to just be able to throw my laptop in the back and have quick access to it. and the back section is padded so that keeps the laptop stable and protected, which is nice. I bought this black-on-black-on-black Kanken as a work backpack. It's a great size, looks smallish and can fit a 16 inch Macbook Pro separately in its own section. I own another Kanken where I normally shove the laptop inside the bigger compartment in the same slit as where the padded seating pad is stored. However the downside though is, this got super annoying to take my laptop out if my bag was full, even with being able to fully zip the bag open like a clamshell

 That's why I bought this with the dedicated laptop section. Though as lovely and lightweight as this Kanken was, I didn't realise how much dust and debris this black big will pick up and it's going to start to look really worn. I left it on the floor of my bedroom (dusty floorboards) and it was such a magnet to the dust particles that I decided to return. This also costs more than the regular Kanken laptop bags due to the logo/trimmings/bag handles being made from leather (looks classier IMHO) and the shoulder straps are padded so theoretically should be more comfortable to wear in the long run, especially if you're going to be carting around a heavy laptop

Stylish understated but unfortch shows dust easily

I bought it a month ago to use for business travel and personal travel. It’s perfect for both! I’m 5’3” and this fits my body perfect. It’s very comfortable and fits the perfect amount of items.

 this is actually something else that I was not so keen on was that the zipper goes all the way down. That was something I didn't think I would want as I was kind of looking at a backpack because I remember from high school. I used to hate when I had a backpack that zippered all the way down because there was always that fear of like if your backpack accidentally comes unzipped and you're walking along then it would like spill all your stuff out. and I was even looking at other getting a different backpack

Love the completely separate laptop compartment (fits my X1C perfectly), the padded straps, its ideal size (5’5” 105 lb female), and I just like the look of it more than the North Face and Thule backpacks I’ve had. The main compartment is huge. I like the tote-style handles on the backpack that make it easy to pick up and go. Probably due to the shape of the backpack, but you could put a lot of notebooks and textbooks in there

 We Can feel it's very solid. Fjallraven Claims that it will not easily pick up dust and dirt and scratches. Essentially, it's tough, it's durable. Fjallraven is a Swedish company

 There's like five different reds and 20 different colors overall, so you can definitely find a color that suits you. There's a small pocket in the front. Going To test this out here by putting in, let's see.

It is a great bag but in the pictures it looks much bigger than it actually is. Make sure you know how much you will be carrying before choosing your Kanken.

Smaller than you think

 the Kanken seems to be made well. And despite having pretty skinny straps, it’s comfortable.

I really am glad I bought this bag. My last big ripped because I really carry so much (Carry my laptop, all my notes, my work stuff, basically so I can be prepared at all times). This bag is extremely sturdy and show no signs of ripping. My only concern is if you buy in black, it gets dirty extremely quickly so be careful

Spacious!

 It is still substantial and does not feel like its going to fall apart. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because of the price. You are paying for the logo, this is a no frills bag when it comes to features.

I got one of these backpacks this year for school and I love it. I am in 6th grade and sense it was my first year of middle school, it was so helpful. It unzips all the way and it was so nice to have and it was so easy to get all my books and binders in my backpack.
