At this price point if should be included • It would have been nice if it had a designated laptop-only section that you can lay flat on the X-ray belt • The included hip belt is over kill. This uses the same hip belt as the larger Tortuga Men's Setout 35L and 45L bags. They really need to design a hip belt that is proportionately sized for this bag. Though the Osprey had a better harness/waist strap system, but for the size of bag, the Tortuga's removable waist straps works just fine. Most times I don't even use the waist straps unless I know I will be walking for over 20+ minutes. I used the Tortuga Outbreaker for years, but eventually I switched to a spinner carryon and backpack combo. Here's why:. Money stopped being my primary concern, and comfort became number one. I don't mind paying to check a roller if I have to, but using the rolling bag with the backpack slid onto the handle is so much easier and more comfortable of an experience for me

\- The accessory straps were a hassle to take off the bag, especially the lower one on where it attaches to the back of the bag by the hip belt. Took me a solid 8 minutes just to unhook this thing, because the attachment point on the back of the bag is much tighter than the one on the front. \- Speaking of the hip belt, I don't really see it as being very usable for distributing weight.

The straps are plush and breathable thanks to the perforations found throughout. Whether hiking or urban exploring, the back harness was exceptional.
