Commute

Timbuk2 The Division Pack

(1/6)

A little stiff, other than that, a solid commuter choice for school/work/travel. The Moss color is better in person than in the photos! It’s comfortable and my laptop feels safe and secure in it.

Got this pack to replace my messenger bag. The only regret I have is not doing it sooner. Perfect for commuting and around town. Plenty of space for all the things you might wanna bring along

Laptop

Timbuk2 The Division Pack

(1/17)

I decided to finally invest in one that would fit my laptop. For the first time since getting my MacBook on my 18th birthday in 2014, I have a backpack to carry it in!!! I am so thrilled. I also look much more professional in this. I ALSO got to personalize it to keep some ~PINK~ and still look professional ;) Any time I can fit pink and professional together, I do! Thanks Timbuk2!!!!

Perfect for traveling with a laptop as the hard padding in between the back and the rest of the bag protects your device. More narrow than most other bags I've used, so nice for under the airplane seat. Great quality and seems durable so far.

So, let's dive in and check out every single little detail of the deuter up sydney day pack, so starting out with the fabric on the outside. It's got a really soft and suedey feel uh. The bags in the up series from deuter are made with recycled plastic bottles as well. So i really like that

Zipper

Timbuk2 The Division Pack

(1/6)

Bag is great, but the front pocket zipper is a bit had to zip and doesn't close all the way. Seems like maybe it is too close to seam of the fabric above it? Give my he cost of the bag I would have hoped for better. Otherwise it is good so far.

So there's no elastic! Nothing like that! That's going to! Let me no welts back here, no, like stretchy gusseted fabric back here. So it's you know you kind of get what you get when it comes to this exterior water bottle pocket, and you can even see this bag kind of contouring in and curving in. So just note that if you have a larger water bottle, it's probably not going to work there, and even if you have a regular sized one like this, it's really going to cut into the interior space of the bag. If you utilize that there's also a water bottle pocket inside which we'll get to in a second but first i want to talk about this zippered pocket here on the side for a phone, so i've just got my my cell phone in there

Compartment

Timbuk2 The Division Pack

(1/7)

Look at all I could fit inside --Simple. No endless selection of pockets and pouches that break up the volume so much that you can't fit big things in it --Separate padded laptop compartment --Soft-lined tablet sleeve --Attached key ring --Simple selection of pockets on the interior. Just enough for a couple of pens, a charger, etc. --One large exterior compartment --Nicely ventilated in the back --Strong top handle CONS: --I could do without the compression buckles on the sides

This is a dango wallet. I'Ve been testing so get ready for a review or some content on that and then right here i've got my keys here on this key clip, nothing too crazy going on with the key clip, but it does the job just just nicely. That's that front zippered compartment! I do really like that now, let's turn our attention to that water bottle pocket on the exterior. So you can really see this curving in i'm like there is an internal water bottle pocket here too, with this like elastic kind of material, i'm trying to get it

Comfort

Timbuk2 The Division Pack

(1/3)

Was able to get this on sale after eyeing it up for a couple weeks and diligent research. This backpack is incredibly comfortable and well built! I’ve taken it to the Caribbean, including beaches, all day treks and the padding on the straps kept it comfortable all day! Will easily fit a 15” laptop in the pocket, and the main pocket has plenty of room for other things such as books or equipment. Is on the smaller size as backpacks go, but that’s what I was looking for.

I am in my fellowship program at the local hospital and I bring this pack to work with me every day. This pack is super comfortable to wear and the top zipper allow me easy access inside where I have my laptop (conveniently stored in a pocket inside so it doesn't slide around inside the pack), books, study materials, notebooks, snacks/lunch, etc. The front pocket is also great for my face masks and other smaller items I need. Truly love the design of this bag and the fact that it was made from recycled plastic bottles is a huge win too!
