Cotopaxi Luzon 24L Pack - Del Dia vs Cotopaxi Tarak 20L Del Dia Pack

I have had this pack for about 6 months now. I use it daily going to and from work and have now gone one two vacations. This pack has been my personal item/carry on and has taken me to the beach and to the mountains. This past weekend I went to the Rocky Mountains for a weekend trip and this was the only pack I took with me

It's pretty great at being a small daypack for all of those things. It's a pretty great carry on for the plane, because it's narrow enough that my feet can stretch out on either side when it's under the seat in front of me. The inner zipper pocket is a great place for keys, wallet, etc. The pocket in the lid is just right for a steel-pint-sized mug

-The straps were thin and didn’t have any padding so I would anticipate this hurting my shoulder eventually.

I modified it right away to make it more ridge. The compression strap would be better if they were buckles that could release so that you could attach rope without have to feed it thru the top every time. Also, the hydration hose port is not practical.

I think the bags could also use a strap up higher on the sides as well to tighten down my trekking poles when not in use. One more thing, I’m fairly broad chested and have wide shoulders and there is barely enough chest strap to go across. I larger person may definitely have issues. Other than these 3 things I find these packs to be near perfect! Thank you!

I love that there is no top to the pack, as it is easy to store my light-weight three-legged stool inside so that I can stop and rest anytime I want without having to lower my creaky older body all the way to the ground.

The zippered compartment is best for electronics and the top cinch compartment for bulky items and clothes. The bold color combos look great as well.

Love the look - but literally none of the zippers worked - they were all attached over the fabric which didn’t allow for the teeth of the zipper to do anything beyond just looking at the zipper in complete and utter disbelief ... I absolutely think it looks alone drove a rating it would be top notch but it’s literally worthless in it’s current condition
