Comfort

(1/7)

"I’m writing this post after a month of using an ONA bag and months are using Billingham bags that I’ve overpacked and hurt my back by using. The Thule Covert is incredibly comfortable. When it’s worn, it’s going to feel like a relief on your back. It’s not the Tenba and WANDRD options that offer lumbar support, but it’s still nice for the upper and midsection"

Size

(1/7)

"My only problem is how small the camera area is. For example i use the Thule Aspect for a day to day use and it can fit almost everything i need in the camera area when i go out (Nikon FF camera with a 70-200, 24-70 and even a 14-24) so my problem with the Thule Covert is that i cant't fit all this stuff in the camera compartment i even though of send it to someone to fix it for me because i would really like to use this bag as a Trekking bag for 2-3 days without long walks but being able to take all my camping, food, clothes plus camera stuff and i dont like the bags where is 100% camera space, i really like the side access for the camera area which is divided from the top. Please Thule have this in mind for a next backpack!"

Compartment

(1/5)

"The Thule Covert DSLR Rolltop Backpack’s extras revolve around the urban human-powered commuter: abundant pockets allow organization for working on the go. The zip out divider expands pack use to urban missions not involving cameras. The multiple options that allow strapping gear to the outside of the pack along with the expandable roll top closure accommodate layers that may be necessary for winter commuting by bike or foot, and one of the front bellows style pockets is sized to fit a bicycle U-lock. Carry-on

(1/4)

"I like to travel with my camera gear in person, as a carry on. It must accommodate couple of bodies, and a few lenses, as well as enough extras (a pair of trousers, shirt, toiletries, headset, laptop etc). This one meets the requirement. Better yet, it does so by sticking to its name "Covert", without looking like a camera bag"

Laptop

(1/4)

"With this bag, neither my fellow travelers nor TSA/customs are curious about the contents. I can blend in with the other tourists and get straight to work! The only thing to be careful of is not to overstuff the laptop sleeve and stress the zippers. I tend to carry my 15" laptop, iPad Pro, and lots of paper documents in that sleeve and the stress on the zipper causes failure. But that's my bad!"

Hiking

(1/4)

"Pockets galore! The only downside is that it is a little heavy to be used as a hiking pack. About double the weight you would want it to be. But this bag will take a beating! I trekked 8k to see the Navy plane in Iceland while it rained the entire time. This bag is not waterproof but does have water resistance"

Strap

(1/2)

"Love the style of the roll-top with its clip straps - but love most that each style element has a specific purpose. The roll-top provides plenty of storage and fits my KARMA drone. Obviously this bag would better fit any of the Mavic folding models but I only have the KARMA. The clips are great quality - not typical plastic clips - they are very secure and it's proven each time I unclip - the spring of the release is just as snappy as the first day I bought it"

Zipper

(1/1)

"No problems with the zippers. DSLR insert for when I take my equipment to events. The inside lining is starting a fray a bit from too much use, but I'll likely be buying it again in a year!"
