Hiking

(1/7)

"After weeks of surfing the internet reading reviews and knowing what I was looking for I found it in the Ace 38, so I bought it for my 7 year old grandson to introduce him to the JOY of backpacking. The Deuter Fox 30 I purchased prior to this did not adjust to 11" as they advertise, but this one does. The Fox 30's shortest torso adjustment is 13". Nyca now has what he needs and I wanted for him in the Osprey Ace 38 and it's got 21% more capacity than the Fox 30 for the other gear I bought him"

Comfort

(1/6)

"So #1 of are 3 pack shoot out. This bag has the best of all the adult pack construction, but its missing 2 things Frist this bag was best by me and both of my daughters, we all like the lay out. fit and comfort they said it felt great to have on with weight. It has a metal wire frame and air gap back panel The Deuter was are second best with the Gregory 3rd Only this this bag is missing is a hip belt pocket and I liked the wider belt that the Deuter had, girls didn't made the smaller one"

Size

(1/3)

"I've found it hard to find packs that fit small, skinny, grade-school-age kids who are ready to carry a sleeping bad, pad, and their own clothes and water. The Ace 38 is a pack for those kids. Built with a level of quality that compares with better, entry-level adult packs, the Ace packs tackle the challenge of fitting a wide range of kids' body sizes comfortably, and giving parents a broad range of pack capacities to choose from for their kids."

Compartment

(1/3)

"I said I don't use it, but if you do that's a nice feature, I really like this pocket here. It'S a good place for something that you're not gon na need. Til you get to camp, so I could put my journal and pen in here if I want it because um yeah, I'm not gon na use that til I'm in my tent next. I really like this pocket right here"

Strap

(1/3)

"Alright, so Kylie's gon na put this backpack on and show you the proper way to put it on in the proper way to adjust its tension, so go ahead and grab it caddy. So as she puts it on here, you notice she uses this arm. It holds on to this strap here. You don't necessarily want to hold on to the shoulder, strap, so gon na hold on to that Senator grab handle and she stays bent over"

Ease Of Use

(1/1)

"We haven't been able to go out with this pack yet, but we have loaded it up and my 9 year old son wore it around the house for a while. Like my osprey volt, it is simple yet has all we need. It stays tight to him without swinging side to side as he maneuvers. It's not too tall, so it won't make him face plant when he picks something up"

Zipper

(1/1)

"So now this part there's a zipper tucked up here, pull it down and open up there. You go then, to open it, it has it like the dorther fox, the clips open it up. You got a little mesh right there that opens oh before we go inside. I forgot there's a out pocket just like the doily fox, and then it opens up really big, i'm not kidding"
